ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

AUGUST 25, 2011

10:30P.M.        Called meeting to order. Present: Paula B. Keefe, Richard B. Gorden and Mark J. Mazur.

1.   The Board granted a Fiscal Year 2011 Clause 18A exemption to the owner

      of Parcel 70-51.

2.   The Board signed three documents related to the Clause 18A exemption they

      had just approved, a Tax Deferral and Recovery Agreement, a Statement of

      Entry into Tax Deferral and Recovery Agreement and a Property Tax Deferral

      Certificate.

3.   The Board read letters from the owner of Parcel 102-27 regarding his assessed

      values from Fiscal Year 2009 through 2011. The Board decided to make a

      special request for State authority under M.G.L. Chapter 58 Section 8 for

      permission to abate his property for Fiscal Year 2009 and 2010. The     

      Administrative Assessor will draft a request that the Board will then review

      at their next Board meeting.

4.   The Board discussed the status of settlement discussions with the owner of a

      personal property account.

5.   The Board discussed possible days and times for our next Board meeting. The

      Board decided to check with Mrs. Abelson before deciding on a meeting date.
